Product Description

Talbingo Hill 2013 Southeast Australian Chardonnay:

The 2013 vintage in South Eastern Australia was one of the earliest and shortest vintages in recent memory. A mix of hot weather and below average rainfall in the spring reduced grape yields. The heat wave that struck in mid‐February jumpstarted harvest allowing for low disease pressure in the vineyards and a small crop that produced concentrated, fully ripened grapes.

South Eastern Australia is known as Australia’s benchmark, home to areas like Barossa, Adelaide and McLaren Vale, each with a variety of climate and soil types. Grapes for this wine were sourced from various areas including the Adelaide hills, the extremely hot and dry Riverlands and Riverina near New South Wales.
